A Family Life Coach  is trained to objectively help families reach their full potential or help navigate difficult situations and changes in family life. (Dr. Kimberly Allen, 2017)

Situations that a family life coach assists with include: communication in marriage, managing work/life balance, the care of elderly parents, stress management and conflict management.

Drawing from family life education, family therapy, and positive psychology this emerging field is designed to serve a non-clincial population.

Family Life Coaching of MInnesota LLC partners trained in a graduate level family life coaching program through North Carolina State University.  The program was developed and facilitated by Dr. Kimberly Allen author of Theory, Research, and Practical Guidelines for Family Life Coaching (Springer, 2016)
